Forest Sun

Forest Sun joined Flagship Pioneering in 2020 as director of executive search. In this role, she is responsible for executive-level talent strategy and recruitment for Flagship Labs companies.

With over a decade of executive search experience assisting venture-backed and emerging high-growth biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, Forest is a trusted advisor to organizational leaders focused on building talent in innovative settings. Prior to joining Flagship, Forest was a principal at The Stevenson Group, a boutique, retained executive search firm focused on life sciences. She was also a member of the biotechnology practice at Korn Ferry. Throughout her career, Forest has successfully placed chief executive officers, heads of research and development, chief scientific officers, chief medical officers, chief financial officers, chief business officers, and board members. In addition to C-level positions, her search experience includes functional leadership roles in medical affairs, commercial, and manufacturing across a variety of modalities and disease areas.

Forest received her BA in psychology and music from The George Washington University, and her MA in social organizational psychology, with a concentration in leadership development, from Columbia University.
