Gary Javadi

Gary Javadi joined Flagship Pioneering in 2024 as Senior Director of Business Development, responsible for leading business development transactions for Pioneering Medicines.

Before joining Flagship, Gary served as Director of Business Development at Bristol Myers Squibb where he was responsible for leading licensing and partnership agreements. He was previously responsible for the financial analysis of BMS licensing, acquisitions, and corporate transactions.

Prior to BMS, Gary held positions of increasing responsibility at Merck & Co., eventually leading a team of financial analysts. He also held roles in revenue forecasting, external research & corporate strategy. Gary started his career as an organic chemist in Process Research at Merck. He has co-authored 6 publications and 2 patents.

Gary holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the College of New Jersey and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
