Hozefa Bandukwala

Hozefa Bandukwala joined Flagship in 2021 and is a Vice President and Science Partner at Flagship. He also serves as the Founding Chief Scientific Officer of Prologue Medicines and the Interim Chief Scientific Officer at Apriori Bio. Prior to joining Flagship, he held several senior roles in the industry including Vice President of Platform Biology at Sigilon Therapeutics, Senior Director and Head of Discovery Biology at Rheos Medicines, and Head of the Immunometabolism Laboratory at Pfizer, where he pioneered novel target discovery in the field of immunometabolism.

Hozefa received his Ph.D. in Immunology from University of Chicago and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University, where he conducted research on epigenetic and metabolic regulation of T cell functions. He received his B.S. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay.
