James McClurkin

James McClurkin joined Flagship Pioneering in early 2022 and brings an extensive background in IT management, systems, and operations. He provides strategic direction for one of Flagship’s Pioneering Business Units helping companies achieve IT strategy milestones as they grow.

Before joining Flagship, James worked at Flagship-founded Inari Agriculture as Senior Manager of IT, where he designed and implemented systems and strategies to grow Inari’s core IT infrastructure, end-user experience, and technology ecosystem.

James is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, where his duties included search and rescue, drug enforcement, and being one of America’s last lighthouse keepers.
